Hot Pepper Cranberry Jelly Appetizer
Makes 16 appetizer servings
|1/2||cup canned whole cranberry sauce|
|1/4||cup apricot fruit spread|
|1||teaspoon cider vinegar|
|1/2||teaspoon dried red pepper flakes|
|1/2||teaspoon grated fresh ginger|
|Crackers and cheeses|
- Combine cranberry sauce, fruit spread, sugar, vinegar and pepper flakes in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar has dissolved; do not boil. Transfer to bowl to cool completely. Stir in ginger.
- To serve, top crackers with cheese and a dollop of cranberry-apricot mixture.
