INGREDIENTS
| 2 | spiced chai-flavored tea bags |
| 1 | cup boiling water |
| Ice cubes | |
| 1/2 | cup cream, divided |
| 2 | cups cool water, divided |
| 2 | packets no calorie sweetener (or 2 tablespoons sucralose-based sugar substitute), divided |
| Ground cinnamon or nutmeg, for garnish (optional) | |
PREPARATION:
- Steep both tea bags in boiling water for about 4 minutes to brew 1 cup double-strength tea. Remove tea bags and refrigerate to cool.
- To serve, pour half of cooled tea (less than 1/2 cup) over ice in each of 2 tall glasses. Add 1/4 cup cream, 1 cup cool water and 1 packet sweetener to each glass and stir to combine. Sprinkle with cinnamon just before serving.
