We have already talked about how cool FreeRice.com is, the game that tests your vocab while donating rice (through the UN) to people who don't have enough to eat.

But it added a twist this month that seemed worth mentioning: it is now sending rice directly to victims of the floods in Pakistan.

They also just introduced a new and improved version of the site that allows you to track your totals, invite friends, and create and join groups. There's also a rankings page.

That's sure to boost the numbers of people playing the game that has already helped to feed more than 4.2 million people since its launch in 2007.

It could also improve your vocabulary—an area in which this country can surely use some help.

So if you have a minute and an internet connection, think about using them to send some rice to people who could really use it.
