I was pleased to hear that South Carolinians had begun turning the table on our most ravenous invasive species, the Lionfish. A Facebook group even formed dedicated to "the mass slaughter and cooking of Lionfish on the East Coast." They're among a growing group of diners who have decided to fight the take over of this invasive species by enjoying its succulent flavor, according to The State.
