Jammy Wedges

Makes 8 to 10 servings

1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons blackberry jam
Powdered sugar
Additional blackberry jam (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 9-inch glass pie plate; line bottom of plate with waxed paper. Let dough stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.
  2. Combine dough, granulated sugar and egg in large bowl; beat until well blended. (Dough will be sticky.) Spread dough in prepared pie plate; smooth top. Stir jam in small bowl until smooth. Dot top of dough with jam. Swirl jam into dough using tip of knife.
  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until edges are light brown and center is set. Cool at least 5 minutes in pie plate on wire rack.
  4. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into wedges just before serving. Serve with additional jam, if desired.
