Jicama & Citrus Salad
Yield: Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:

(13-ounce) jicama, peeled and cut into short thin strips (about 4 cups)

large navel oranges, peeled and cut into sections

1
small red onion, thinly sliced

1/2
cup lime juice

1/3
cup sugar

jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced or 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

teaspoon orange zest



 
Preparation:
1.
Combine all the ingredients in medium mixing bowl; mix well. Let stand 10 minutes before serving, stirring occasionally.
