Yield: Makes 2 coffeecakes
Ingredients:
Basic Sweet Dough (recipe follows)

1/2
cup sugar

1
cup whipping cream

2
eggs

2
tablespoons sugar

1
teaspoon ground cinnamon



Preparation:
1.
Prepare Basic Sweet Dough as directed through first rising. Punch down dough. Divide into 2 equal parts. Shape each part into ball. Roll out on lightly floured surface to a circle 7-1/2 inches in diameter. Fit each circle into greased 8- or 9-inch round cake or pie pan. Press dough to sides of pan to cover bottom completely.

Heat oven to 350°F. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the sugar over dough in each pan. Beat cream and eggs with whisk until blended. Pour half of cream mixture over sugar in each pan.

3.
Combine the 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over cream mixture in each pan. Bake until knife inserted in center of cream mixture comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool Kuchen in pans on wire rack.
