Light Fluffy Frosting

Yield

Makes about 2 cups

Ingredients

2/3 cup sugar
2 egg whites*
5 tablespoons light corn syrup
Dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

*Use only Grade A clean, uncracked eggs.

Preparation

  1. Combine sugar, egg whites, corn syrup and salt in top of double boiler or stainless steel bowl. Set over boiling water. Beat constantly until stiff peaks form, about 7 minutes. Remove from water and beat in vanilla.
