Make Your Own Mouthwash

The true benefits of mouthwash are certainly controversial. According to Your Total Health, dental experts often do not believe over-the-counter mouthwashes offer significant benefits over simply flossing and brushing. In addition, over-the-counter mouthwash can mask, rather than eliminate, bad breath. But for those that have a special place in their heart for swishing that neon green liquid, and want to temporarily kill bad breath, have I got the remedy for you.

Mouthwash often comes in nonrenewable plastic bottles that just end up in the landfill for years to come. Why not try a more natural option? Making mouthwash yourself means that you know what you're swishing with and you can save money at the same time.
