|Mustard Spread (recipe)|
|1/4||cup maple syrup|
|2||teaspoons garlic powder|
|1||teaspoon black pepper|
|1/2||teaspoon ground nutmeg|
|4||jumbo hot dogs|
|4||hot dog buns, split|
|1/2||cup (2 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese|
- Prepare Mustard Spread; set aside.
- Prepare grill for direct cooking.
- Combine maple syrup, garlic powder, pepper and nutmeg in small bowl. Brush syrup mixture onto bacon slices. Wrap 1 slice bacon around each hot dog.
- Brush hot dogs with remaining syrup mixture. Place hot dogs on grid. Grill, covered, over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until bacon is crisp and hot dogs are heated through, turning halfway through grilling time. Place hot dogs in buns, top with Mustard Spread and cheese.
