Popcorn Truffles
Candy keeps the Tooth Fairy in business. Help fund her retirement by making these amazingly simple candy recipes.
Yield: Makes about 1-1/2 cups
Ingredients:

tablespoons butter, softened
2
tablespoons maple or pancake syrup
1-1/2
cups powdered sugar
Preparation:

Beat butter and syrup in medium bowl until blended. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth.
Tip
To make gumdrop hat, roll out large gumdrop on generously sugared surface. Cut 1 rounded piece to look like top of hat and 1 straight piece to look like brim of hat as shown in photo. Overlap pieces to make hat; pipe decorator gel over seam for hat band.
