Maple Oatmeal Raisin Drops
Yield: Makes 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
1
package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1
cup uncooked quick oats
1
cup raisins
1/4
cup maple syrup
Maple Glaze (recipe follows)
Preparation:
1.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Let dough stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.

Combine dough, oats, raisins and maple syrup in large bowl; beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.

Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are light brown and centers are set. Cool on cookie sheets 1 minute. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
4.
Prepare Maple Glaze; drizzle over cooled cookies. Let stand until set.
Maple Glaze:
Combine 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon maple syrup in small bowl; whisk until blended. Add additional maple syrup by teaspoonfuls until glaze is of drizzling consistency.
