| 1‑1/4 | cups water |
| 1/4 | cup maple or pancake syrup |
| 1/4 | teaspoon maple extract |
| 1 | tablespoon butter, softened |
| 1‑1/2 | teaspoons salt |
| 3 | cups bread flour |
| 1/4 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 1/2 | cup coarsely chopped walnuts |
| 1/2 | teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 1‑1/2 | teaspoons rapid-rise active dry yeast |
| 2-Pound Loaf | |
| 1‑1/2 | cups water |
| 1/3 | cup maple or pancake syrup |
| 1/2 | teaspoon maple extract |
| 2 | tablespoons butter, softened |
| 2 | teaspoons salt |
| 4 | cups bread flour |
| 1/3 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 3/4 | cup coarsely chopped walnuts |
| 3/4 | teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 2 | teaspoons rapid-rise active dry yeast |
PREPARATION:
- Measuring carefully, place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order specified by owner's manual.
- Program basic cycle and desired crust setting; press start. Remove baked bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
