Going on a jet plane is no longer the luxury it once was. Between layovers and delays, lack of leg room and food, not to mention the knowing that you're adding several tons of carbon emissions to your already Big Foot sized carbon footprint, it's easy to get antsy, angry, and over it all really fast. Which is why you need to move your body. More than toning muscles and trimming off fat, fact is that even a quickie workout is known to combat fatigue, minimize frustration, and keep blood flowing (which can fight off blood clots that form from sitting for too long).

So how do you workout without sashaying through the aisles, knocking elbows and tripping on sleepers' feet on your way? By staying exactly where you are and doing a quickie working out in your seat. Yes, even in coach. Sure, this no-equipment necessary workout may be a mere scratch against the carbon emissions you're contributing to from the flight, but little green daily decisions definitely count and can add up, making a positive (or at least not as negative) eco impact. In fact, when it comes to getting healthy and trimming calories, working out without any workout equipment is about as green as you can get. Plus, the healthier you are, the less doctor's office visits you will require, the less medication and surgeries you will need.

Now, there are three distinct phases when it comes to how discreet you want to be (as well as how effective you want your workout to be. Those phases include: Discreet, Less Discreet, and Overtly Obnoxious.

Watch the video here to help get the hang of the moves (you can either write them down pre-take off or sign onto the internet on-board and follow along).
