If April 2 being National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day doesn't already make you hungry for a classic PB&J sandwich, maybe the added incentive of saving the planet will.

I might exaggerate a little. But the PB&J campaign really does exist, and its objective is to get people to reduce their carbon footprint by eating more plant foods and less animal products. Which is advice that, if enough people follow, really can help the planet.

The PB&J campaign offers other earth-friendly recipes, too, but who doesn't love a good PB&J now and then. It's a classic, it's delicious, and—especially if you go for local and organic peanut butter and jelly (or make your own!)—it's good for the world.
