A woman in Los Angeles was recently arrested for importing a supposed aphrodisiac: bear bile. Aside from being gross, importing bear bile is considered to be illegal importation of wildlife under the federal Endangered Species Act. So not only did this lady further the endangerment of bears, but she wasted the energy of the postal service, may serve up to 20 years in prison, and never got to use her aphrodisiac.
Aphrodisiacs are substances that have been used throughout history in order to make sex more pleasurable and/or attainable.
