New Year's Toast Dip

Yield

Makes about 2 cups dip

Ingredients

2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup half-and-half or milk
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup chopped crabmeat
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
2 teaspoons dry ranch-style salad dressing mix
Sliced green olives
Assorted fresh vegetables

Preparation

  1. Beat cream cheese in small bowl at medium speed of electric mixer until fluffy; beat in half-and-half and mayonnaise. Stir in crabmeat, onion and salad dressing mix. Refrigerate 1 hour or until serving time.
  2. Spoon dip into champagne glass or other glass or goblet with wide opening; garnish with olive slices. Serve with assorted fresh vegetables.
