Nuoc Cham is a traditional Vietnamese dipping sauce. You'll find a jar of it sitting on the table at any Vietnamese restaurant. It's damn tasty. This is a basic recipe; I usually eyeball it and make it to taste.
|2 tbsp||lime juice|
|2 tbsp||fish sauce|
|1||clove of garlic, minced|
|1||fresh serrano or bird chili, sliced into tiny rings|
- Mix the first five ingredients together. Add the water to taste (or omit).
