Onion-Chili Relish

INGREDIENTS
| 1 | medium white onion |
| 1 | or 2 fresh jalapeño peppers* |
| 3 | tablespoons fresh lime juice |
| 1/4 | teaspoon salt |
PREPARATION:
- Cut onion and peppers lengthwise into halves. Remove and discard seeds from peppers. Cut onion and pepper halves lengthwise into very thin slices; separate into slivers.
- Combine all ingredients in small bowl; mix well. Let stand, covered, at room temperature 2 hours to blend flavors.
