Peanut Butter Treats
YIELD Makes about 4-1/2 dozen bars

Raisins and peanut butter are a terrific flavor combination.
INGREDIENTS
| 5 | cups crisp rice cereal |
| 1 | cup raisins |
| 1 | cup corn syrup |
| 1 | cup sugar |
| 1‑1/2 | cups creamy peanut butter |
| 1 | teaspoon vanilla |
PREPARATION:
- Butter 13X9-inch baking pan; set aside. Combine cereal and raisins in large heat-proof bowl; set aside.
- Combine corn syrup and sugar in heavy, medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
- Add peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until combined. Pour over cereal-raisin mixture, stirring until combined. Press into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into 2X1-inch bars.
