Raisins and peanut butter are a terrific flavor combination.

INGREDIENTS

5 cups crisp rice cereal
1 cup raisins
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1‑1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

PREPARATION:

  1. Butter 13X9-inch baking pan; set aside. Combine cereal and raisins in large heat-proof bowl; set aside.
  2. Combine corn syrup and sugar in heavy, medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
  3. Add peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until combined. Pour over cereal-raisin mixture, stirring until combined. Press into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm.
  4. Cut into 2X1-inch bars.
