ONYX Popsicle Molds for The Tickle Trunk
DCL
I wanted to share one last amazing plastic-free kitchen find, from Beth Terry over on Fake Plastic Fish (thanks, Beth!): The ONYX Popsicle Mold from The Tickle Trunk!
I am all about icy cold treats in the summer, and have been living off of Watermelon Popsicles, which are great, because you don't even need a mold — just cut up watermelon into popsicle shapes, spear with a stick and freeze. For grown-up popsicles, try marinating the melon in some flavored vodka first, or try this Margarita Melon recipe from YumSugar, which is scrumptious.
But it's summer and that means lots of great popsicle fruit is in season, so I'm looking to expand my popsicle repertoire to include flavors where molds are required. The ONYX molds look like they'll do just the trick. Here are three new popsicle recipes I'm dying to try:
- Peach Blueberry Yogurt Popsicles via Thrifty Gourmet.
- Watermelon Lemonade Blueberry Popsicles via YumSugar
- Vietnamese Iced Coffee Pops via ReadyMade
Stay cool and happy August!
