Pomegranate Caipirinha

YIELD Makes 1 cocktail.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lime, cut into wedges
1 pomegranate, juiced
1 tsp superfine sugar
1 oz organic tequila
1 oz organic light rum

PREPARATION:

Method

  1. Muddle the lime and sugar in a shaker.
  2. To juice the pomegranate, cut it in half. Take time to pull the seeds out of the shell and throw into the juicer.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, tequila, rum, and pomegranate juice.
  4. Shake vigorously. Serve on ice.
