Raspberry Syrup


This recipe is part of the recipe for Chocolate Waffles

Yield

Makes about 1-1/3 cups

Ingredients

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 package (10 ounces) frozen raspberries in syrup

Preparation

  1. Combine water and sugar in large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar has dissolved. Continue cooking until mixture thickens slightly, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in frozen raspberries; cook, stirring, until berries are thawed. Bring to a boil; continue cooking until syrup thickens slightly, about 5 to 10 minutes. Serve warm.
