Which one is your BFF?

Being that this is Face-to-Face February, it might be the ideal time to host a dinner party. In the words of John Robbins:
"Whenever we cook for others, we are making a statement to them. If what we prepare and present to our family and guests is attractive, tasty, and health-supportive, we are saying that we want them to be well and happy, to feel nurtured and strengthened. When we offer cuisine that is made from wholesome and natural ingredients, we are saying that we want them to have all the energy they need in order to make every aspect of their lives richer. We are saying that we honor them."
Part of honoring your guests (and our eco-system) is to limit waste, for example:
- Send an Evite
- Say no to disposable dishes
- Don't over-serve (and compost whatever food scraps remain)
4 More Ways to Honor Your Dinner Guests
1. Serve Plant-Based Food: Consider it your small contribution to ending deforestation.
2. Serve Organic Food: Pesticides are just not very appetizing.
3. Serve Local Food: Local guests, local food, local action.
4. Encourage Dialogue: Here are a few good conversation starters.
