Ingredients:
4
teaspoons red cinnamon candies

1 quart apple juice

1/2
teaspoon cinnamon or peppermint extract (optional)

4
candy cinnamon or peppermint sticks (5 inches each)



Preparation:
1.
Place 1 teaspoon cinnamon candies in each of 4 mugs. Heat apple juice and cinnamon extract, if desired, in medium saucepan until over medium heat hot but not boiling.

2.
Pour hot apple juice into mugs and add cinnamon stick for stirring.


Note: Candies will dissolve into apple juice completely after about 10 minutes and color the juice red.
