Red Wine Marinated Beef
Yield: Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
1/2
cup red wine
1/2
cup beef broth
1
tablespoon cider vinegar
3/4
teaspoon garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2
teaspoon dried oregano
1
beef flank steak (about 1-1/2 pounds)
Preparation:
1.
Combine red wine, broth, vinegar, garlic powder, rosemary and oregano in large bowl; set aside.
2.
Place steak in large resealable food storage bag. Pour marinade over steak; seal bag. Refrigerate at least one hour, turning occasionally, to let flavors blend.
3.
Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Broil steak 13 to 18 minutes for medium rare to medium or until desired doneness, turning once. Slice across the grain into thin slices.
