It is usually the aged who need hearing aids. Although quite a few younger people will surely lose their hearing from blasting Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch all day on their iPods, it is the elderly who most often suffer from the affliction. The elderly, being old, are also the most likely to shuffle off the mortal coil, and they will inevitably leave behind their old hearing aids. (The elderly have it rough, but we all have it rough soon enough.) What can you do with hearing aids that you don't need? It seems like such a waste to chuck them in the garbage.
