INGREDIENTS
| 1/2 | pound asparagus, trimmed, rinsed and dried* |
| 2 | teaspoons olive oil |
| 1/8 | teaspoon salt |
| Pinch freshly ground black pepper | |
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 450° F. On cookie sheet with sides, toss asparagus with olive oil. Add salt and pepper, and toss again. Arrange asparagus in single layer on cookie sheet.
- Broil until partly browned and tips are beginning to crisp, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot.
