Here's a snack that's full of protein, fiber, folate and healthy fats. Just wait until you smell the aroma coming from your oven!

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cups pecan halves
1 cup unsalted macadamia nuts
1 cup walnuts
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add pecans, macadamia nuts and walnuts; mix well. Add rosemary, salt and red pepper flakes; cook and stir about 1 minute.
  2. Spread mixture onto ungreased nonstick baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes, stirring mixture occasionally. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
