David and Linda's Salmon Sliders with Aioli Sauce

INGREDIENTS
| Sliders: | |
| 2 | lbs Fresh Atlantic salmon |
| 2 | doz. small slider buns |
| Northwestern marinade | |
| Spicy Aioli | |
| Marinade: | |
| 1/2 | cup butter |
| 1/3 | cup brown sugar |
| 1/4 | cup red wine |
| Salt & pepper to taste | |
| Aioli sauce: | |
| 1 | cup mayonnaise |
| 1/8 | cup Thai chili paste |
| 1/2 | tablespoon espelette pepper |
| 1/8 | cup lime juice |
| 1/2 | tablespoon salt |
| 1 | teaspoon cayenne pepper |
PREPARATION:
Aioli Sauce:
- Mix all ingredients and chill until ready to use.
Marinade:
- Melt butter and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper, then red wine. Keep stirring for 1 minute until sauce thickens and bubbles up. Remove from heat.
- Pour over prepared salmon filets
Sliders:
- Grill salmon until just done. Cut into 2 in square files pieces and place on warmed, lightly buttered bun. Drizzle with spicy aioli and serve warm.
