INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon kosher salt (optional)
12 frozen bread dough dinner rolls, thawed
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Combine cheese, sesame seeds, Italian seasoning and salt, if desired, in small bowl. Spread out on plate.
  3. Roll each dinner roll into rope, about 8 inches long and 1/2 inch thick, on lightly floured surface; place on baking sheet. Brush tops and sides with butter. Roll each buttered rope in cheese mixture, pressing mixture into dough. Return ropes to baking sheet, placing 2 inches apart. Twist each rope 3 times. Press both ends of rope down on baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
