It's cocktail time!

Mother's Day is this Sunday. Not that I need to remind you. This weekend surprise mom with an extra special brunch. Serving interesting drinks and cocktails can make brunch all the more memorable for mom. You can choose to make non-alcoholic drinks or cocktails.
The simpler, the better when it comes to making a good cocktail. It's better for your waistline and the planet that way. I'd rather start from fresh organic ingredients, instead of processed mixers and spirits so that I actually know what I'm drinking. These drinks are fun but minimal so that the ingredients can shine.
I like to have a nice batch of home brewed tea to go along with the meal especially if it's planned for the afternoon. For the iced tea, choose a high quality organic variety and add some local honey and a bit of fruit juice for added zing. I also enjoy a bit of bubbly for brunch and this mint fizz is the perfect refreshing fix.
