Strawberry Insalata

Yield

Makes 2 cups

Ingredients

3 cups hulled, sliced fresh strawberries
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Dash salt and ground red pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in medium glass bowl, stirring well. Place in 4 individual serving dishes. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate at least 1 hour and no more than 2 hours.
