3 pounds chicken wings
3/4 cup salsa
2/3 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Dijon-style mustard
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel

  1. Cut off and discard wing tips from chicken. Cut each wing in half at joint. Place wings in 13X9-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine salsa, honey, soy sauce, mustard, oil, ginger, orange peel and lemon peel in small bowl; mix well. Pour over chicken wings. Marinate, covered, in refrigerator at least 6 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place chicken wings in single layer on foil-lined, 15X10-inch jelly-roll pan. Pour marinade evenly over chicken wings. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Serve warm with additional salsa and garnish, if desired.
