Makes 1-1/2 cups relish
|3||cups chopped onion|
|1/2||cup mild salsa|
|1/2||cup packed dark brown sugar|
|1||tablespoon cider vinegar|
|1/4||to 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes|
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours until onions are very tender.
- Serve at room temperature as a condiment for roast pork or chicken or chilled over cream cheese.
