Yield: Makes 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients:

package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix

1/2
cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

1
egg yolk

1
cup ground pecans

36
milk chocolate candy kisses

Powdered sugar



 
Preparation:
1.
Preheat oven to 300°F.

Beat half of cake mix and butter in large bowl with electric mixer at high speed until blended. Add egg yolk and remaining cake mix; beat at medium speed just until dough forms. Add pecans; beat just until blended.

Shape rounded tablespoon of dough around each candy, making sure candy is completely covered. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until firm and just beginning to turn golden. Let cookies stand on cookie sheets 10 minutes. Transfer to wire racks set over waxed paper; dust with powdered sugar.
