Miss Tennessee, Stefanie Wittler, submitted this recipe for Tennessee Pecan Pie.
|1||cup white corn syrup|
|1||cup dark brown sugar|
|1/3||cup melted butter|
|3||whole large eggs, slightly beaten|
|1||cup pecan pieces|
|9” unbaked pie shell|
- Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add eggs and mix.
- Gently stir in 1 cup of pecan pieces
- Pour into a 9” unbaked pie shell
- Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes
