Yield: Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients:
1-2
cups finely chopped fresh tomatoes

1/2
green bell pepper, seeded and chopped

1
tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

1
jalapeño pepper,* seeded and minced

1
clove garlic, minced

1/4
teaspoon ground cumin

1/4
teaspoon sugar (optional)



 
Preparation:
1.
Combine tomatoes, bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeño pepper, garlic and cumin in medium bowl. Cover with plastic wrap; leave at room temperature 1 hour. Pour off any watery juices that have collected. Add sugar, if desired.
