A recent post on Civil Eats shows that Yeo Valley Organic, pronounced Yo Valley Organic has found an inventive way to bring attention to organic farming in the UK. Rapping farmers talk about the joy of organic farming as a part of their Living in Harmony Campaign.

Tim Mead the managing director of Yeo Valley wanted to make an advertisement that would appeal to a variety of people, not just food snobs. And with Yeo in the farm's name, the artistic avenue was obvious. It's about getting across a serious message with a bit of a giggle in the background.

Famed Director Julien Lutz wanted to show how two completely separate worlds can come together to convey the importance of organic farming in a nation that still imports much of its yogurt from other countries.

"The sun is up, the milk is chilled. It's gonna be a good day....Yeo Valley's approach is common sense, harmony in nature takes precedence."

The question is whether an ad like this will do what it sets out to do; spread the love of organic farming to a younger generation. The video has already seen 570,000 views on YouTube, so let's hope so.
