Waffles with Strawberry Sauce
Yield: Makes about 6 round waffles
Ingredients:
2-1/4
cups all-purpose flour

tablespoons sugar

1
tablespoon baking powder

1/2
teaspoon salt

2
eggs, beaten

1/4
cup vegetable oil

2
cups milk

Strawberry Sauce (recipe)



 
Preparation:
1.
Preheat waffle iron; grease lightly.

2.
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into large bowl. Combine eggs, oil and milk in medium bowl. Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients until moistened.

3.
For each waffle, pour about 3/4 cup batter into waffle iron. Close lid and bake until steaming stops.* Serve with Strawberry Sauce.
*Check the manufacturer's directions for recommended amount of batter and baking time.
