The advantages of making your own dog food are quite appealing, including saving a bunch of money on costly food, controlling the ingredients that you feed your best friend, reducing the fossil fuels lost in transport, and cutting packaging out of the picture completely. Not to mention all the scary recalls that have killed family dogs. But you can't deny the fear that comes from feeding your pup when you're not sure what they need.
