Whole-Wheat Oatmeal Cookies

Few things will produce a smile as quickly as a plate full of homemade oatmeal cookies!
INGREDIENTS
| 1 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 1 | teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 1 | teaspoon baking powder |
| 1/2 | teaspoon baking soda |
| 1/2 | teaspoon salt |
| 1 | cup packed light brown sugar |
| 1/4 | cup unsweetened applesauce |
| 2 | egg whites |
| 2 | tablespoons margarine |
| 1‑1/2 | teaspoons vanilla |
| 1‑1/3 | cups uncooked quick oats |
| 1/2 | cup raisins |
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
- Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; mix well.
- Combine brown sugar, applesauce, egg whites, margarine and vanilla in large bowl. Mix until small crumbs form. Add flour mixture; mix well. Fold in oats and raisins.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
