Yield: Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
1
pound sirloin steak, trimmed and cut into thin strips

1
tablespoon olive oil

1
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1
small onion, sliced

1
red or yellow bell pepper, sliced

1
cup barbecue sauce

1
can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

1/2
package (1-1/4 ounces) dry chili seasoning

6
pita bread pockets

1
package (8 ounces) string or roped* Provolone cheese

Preparation:
1.
Combine steak strips, oil and Worcestershire sauce in medium bowl. Cook steak strips in large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Stir in onion and bell pepper; cook until vegetables are tender. Do not drain.

2.
Combine barbecue sauce, tomato sauce and chili seasoning in small bowl; add to steak in skillet; cook and stir until heated through. Remove from heat. Spoon about 1/2 cup mixture into each pita pocket. Top with string cheese. Microwave filled pita at HIGH 30 seconds or until cheese is melted.

Tip: Cut bell pepper into scary bug shapes, if desired, and stuff in top of pita.
