5-Minute Trifle

Makes 4 servings


1 package ladyfingers
3 tablespoons sherry or orange liquer
1/2 cup raspberry all-fruit spread or preserves
1 package (4-serving size) instant vanilla pudding mix
1-1/2 cups cold milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 package (2 ounces) slivered almonds
1 pint fresh raspberries


  1. Separate ladyfingers; sprinkle cut sides with sherry. Spread cut sides of ladyfingers with raspberry spread. Arrange ladyfinger vertically along sides of clear, medium serving bowl, raspberry sides facing in.
  2. Combine pudding mix with milk in large bowl; stir until well blended. Pudding will be stiff. Fold in cream until well blended. Spoon pudding mixture into center of ladyfinger-lined bowl; top with almonds and berries. Serve immediately or cover and chill.
