Asparagus and Cheese Side Dish
Makes 4 to 6 servings
|1-1/2||pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed|
|2||cups crushed saltine crackers|
|1||can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of asparagus soup, undiluted|
|1||can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted|
|2/3||cup slivered almonds|
|4||ounces American cheese, cut into cubes|
- Combine all ingredients in large bowl; stir well. Pour into slow cooker. Cover; cook on HIGH 3 to 3-1/2 hours or until asparagus is tender. Garnish as desired.
