Bacon-Wrapped Breadsticks the Editors of Publications International, Ltd.
Makes 16 breadsticks
|16||garlic-flavored breadsticks (about 8 inches long)|
|3/4||cup grated Parmesan cheese|
|2||tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)|
- Cut bacon slices in half lengthwise. Wrap half slice of bacon diagonally around each breadstick. Combine Parmesan cheese and parsley, if desired, in shallow dish; set aside.
- Place 4 breadsticks on double layer of paper towels in microwave oven. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until bacon is cooked through. Immediately roll breadsticks in Parmesan mixture to coat. Repeat with remaining breadsticks.
