Makes 1 cup
|1/2||cup blueberries, divided|
|1/2||cup maple syrup, divided|
|1/2||teaspoon grated lemon peel|
|1/2||teaspoon ground cinnamon|
|1/4||teaspoon ground nutmeg|
- Bring 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/4 cup syrup to a boil in small saucepan over medium heat. Mash hot berries with fork. Add remaining 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/4 cup syrup, lemon peel, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cook and stir over medium heat about 2 minutes or until heated through.
