|8||ounces 95% lean ground beef|
|1/3||cup chopped onion|
|1||clove garlic, minced|
|1||can (8 ounces) tomato sauce|
|1/3||cup chopped carrot|
|2||tablespoons red wine|
|1||teaspoon dried Italian seasoning|
|1-1/2||cups hot cooked penne pasta|
|Chopped fresh parsley|
- Brown beef, onion and garlic in medium saucepan over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring to break up meat. Drain fat.
- Add tomato sauce, carrot, water, wine and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Serve sauce over pasta. Sprinkle with parsley.
