|1||cup yellow cornmeal|
|1||Teaspoon baking powder|
|1||Teaspoon baking soda|
|1/2||Teaspoon salt (optional)|
|1/4||cup vegetable oil|
|1||4 ounce can green chile|
|1||cup cheddar cheese, shredded|
- Mix wet and dry ingredients in two separate bowls.
- Stir dry ingredients into liquid mix until moistened. Don't over mix!
- Pour batter in skillet and bake for 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees.
