Cheesy Broccoli Casserole

Makes 4 to 6 servings
|2||packages (10 ounces each) chopped broccoli|
|1||can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of potato soup|
|1-1/4||cups (5 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided|
|1/4||cup minced onion|
|1||teaspoon hot pepper sauce|
|1||cup crushed potato chips and saltine crackers|
- Lightly grease slow cooker. Combine broccoli, soup, 1 cup cheese, onion and pepper sauce in slow cooker; mix well.
- Cover; cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours or on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 hours.
- Sprinkle chips and remaining 1/4 cup cheese over broccoli mixture. Cook, uncovered, on LOW 30 to 60 minutes or until cheese melts.
For a crispy topping, transfer casserole to a baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and crackers. Bake 10 to 15 minutes in preheated 400°F oven.
